Bookmobile

Sure, an ipad or Kindle is awfully handy, but you can't do this with them! Created by artist, Lisa Occhipinti, each bookmobile is designed as a sculptural object to emanate bliss.

Interestingly, Occhipinti's is set to release her first book, The Repurposed Library, in April 2011. The publisher says it will feature 33 projects that breathe new life into orphaned books and flea market finds - but aren't they missing the ironically obvious?!

From $US 68; available from theshophouse on Etsy.

  5. Oh my goodness. I am in love with this! I would love to one day house all my precious book in a library room of my very own, and I would want one of these hanging from the ceiling! Beautiful!
