Turbans are B-A-C-K! The first time I spotted the return of this retro head wear, was when Kate Moss showed up at the Met 2009 Gala in one.

Since then, turbans have made an appearance in Sex and The City 2 and been spotted on the likes of Ashely Olsen, Salma Hayek and Kourtney Kardashian.

They also featured prominently at New York's recent Spring 11 Fashion Week, with Jason Wu styling his collection with black and cobalt turbans and celebrity stylist, June Ambrose, wearing a different turban every day of that week.

Wearing a turban takes a truck-load of confidence. You have to truly believe in this look and commit to it to carry it off. So, while I love admiring this trend from afar, I'm not convinced I'll be giving it a run.
What's your take on this trend? Are you ready to get turban-charged?
I love it, will absolutely be getting one for myself.

I actually love them. I think it adds another dimension to fashion. It does help being stunning looking though. But then it can also hide a little grey/bad hair and lift your face a little?! I'd give the right one a go that's for sure. Pruxxx
ReplyDeleteI don't like them at all - but I have to say I think Kate pulled it off :)
ReplyDeleteI really like them, but I am not sure if I like them on me!
