Paper Sculptures by Anna-Wili Highfield








Like birds of a feather, I'd like to stick together with Anna-Wili Highfield's beautiful paper sculptures. Apparently Anna-Wili doesn't draw her pieces first. She just feels her way through the process of scultping, painting and sewing archival cotton paper. I guess only a process that is this free could so perfectly evoke a feathered flight of fancy...

    i can't imagine how difficult it must be to create something so delicate.
