Paper Sculptures by Anna-Wili Highfield








Like birds of a feather, I'd like to stick together with Anna-Wili Highfield's beautiful paper sculptures. Apparently Anna-Wili doesn't draw her pieces first. She just feels her way through the process of scultping, painting and sewing archival cotton paper. I guess only a process that is this free could so perfectly evoke a feathered flight of fancy...

    These are lovely! The 1st photo and the second to last are my favorite.
    i can't imagine how difficult it must be to create something so delicate.

    Those are amazing! I wish my brain could work that well in 3D. I think it's a special talent.
