Spring has Sprung

Images: Pomme

Sculptures by Emma Davies

This morning I woke to the sound of a blackbird heralding the arrival of Spring. Don't you think it's ironic that such a sweet sound of hope can come from a bird that is pitch black? A much better fit would be with Emma Davies' feathered friends. Emma uses industrial cable ties, plastic netting, mesh and polypropylene to create truly unique sculptural forms of birds, branches, nests and pods.

Recycled. Repurposed. Reborn. Emma's birds are the perfect way to sing in a season that is all about a fresh start.

Available at Pomme - Rear 138 Main Street, Mornington, Victoria, Australia.
