Images: String Gardens
String Gardens by Fedor
One part folly, two parts whimsy, Fedor's String Gardens remind me of a cosmic galaxy. Inspired by a Japanese botanical style called Kokedama, the objective of these installations is to simply bring plants to eye level. But they do so much more than that - don't you think? They evoke a sense of peace and almost make you feel weightless...
These images made my day. Just lovely. I would love to have some. Totally out of this world:)
ReplyDeleteHi! These are amazing. I love quirky ideas in the garden and little bursts of plants in small urban spaces.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog too, I found you via the lovely evie of Handmade Romance. I'll be back!
hey, thanks for the compliment! You have a beautiful place yourself too. Love these string gardens, it's an amazing idea.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea, part fairy tale part reality! I can't see much nature from my window only another apartment building and I think having lots of plants on my balcony will make it better. I wonder is it possible to do something similar myself. So far I have few pots and the likes, but something as fanciful as this string garden would be so much better.
