Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!

String Gardens by Fedor

One part folly, two parts whimsy, Fedor's String Gardens remind me of a cosmic galaxy. Inspired by a Japanese botanical style called Kokedama, the objective of these installations is to simply bring plants to eye level. But they do so much more than that - don't you think? They evoke a sense of peace and almost make you feel weightless...

  4. Such a great idea, part fairy tale part reality! I can't see much nature from my window only another apartment building and I think having lots of plants on my balcony will make it better. I wonder is it possible to do something similar myself. So far I have few pots and the likes, but something as fanciful as this string garden would be so much better.
